StudySync was inspired by a heartfelt desire to make learning inclusive and accessible. Recognizing the challenges faced by visually impaired individuals, we envisioned a tool to empower them through independent engagement with educational content. Our goal was to enhance the learning experience for all students by providing audio files of notes, catering to diverse learning preferences.

What it does

StudySync extracts text from various file formats (PDF, PPT, TXT), creates audio files for inclusive learning, and generates interactive quizzes, fostering an accessible and versatile learning experience for all.

How we built it

We built StudySync using Python, leveraging libraries like NLTK for text processing, PyMuPDF for PDF extraction, and python-pptx for PowerPoint files. The integration of Google Text-to-Speech (gTTS) enables the creation of audio files, making learning inclusive. Our user-friendly interface ensures accessibility, and meticulous testing addressed challenges in accurate content extraction. The result is a versatile tool that caters to diverse learning preferences.
